. So können sie - auch zusammen mit weiteren Akteuren aus der Biodiversitätscommunity - kleinere Vorhaben zur Verbesserung des Forschungsdatenmanagements (FDM) für Biodiversitäts-, Ökologie- und Umweltdaten umsetzen.

Sie möchten bestehende Services verbessern, innovative Lösungen für die Datenmobilisierung oder -dokumentation entwickeln, Schulungsmaterialien erstellen oder haben andere Ideen für Optimierungen, neue Ressourcen oder spannende Aktivitäten? What are Flexfunds?

Flexfunds are flexible resources within the NFDI4Biodiversity budget designed to provide additional opportunities for consortium partners With the help of Flexfunds, the flexible shares in the NFDI4Biodiversity budget, we offer partner institutions additional opportunities to participate in the NFDI4Biodiversity work programme. Whith flexfunds, they can implement short-term activities for the improvement of This enables them - also together with other stakeholders from the biodiversity community - to implement smaller projects to improve research data management (RDM) for biodiversity, ecological ecology and environmental data, possibly in collaboration with other community stakeholfers.

You want Would you like to improve an existing service, mobilise existing data, launch an improved services, develop innovative solutions for data mobilisation or documentation, create training materials for the community or hav have other ideas for improvementsoptimisation, new resources or worthwhile exciting activities? Then handing in a flexfunds project proposal could be worth your timeit might be worth applying for Flexfunds funding.

Eligible activities include, for

Auswahlverfahren

Die eingereichten Anträge werden durch ein vom SC mandatiertes Review Board begutachtet, das aus fachkundigen Community-Vertreter:innen zusammengesetzt ist. Sie erstellen ein Ranking und Empfehlungen, über die die Steuerungsgruppe im Rahmen der von ihr verantworteten Budgetaufstellung für jedes Kalenderjahr entscheidet. Konsortialpartner erhalten die Bewilligung als Teil ihrer Budgetzuweisung für das jeweilige Kalenderjahr.

The acceptance of a flexfunds project is determined applications submitted are assessed by a review board appointed mandated by the Steering Committee ( SC), consisting of experts from relevant fields in our community. They will rank the proposals and provide recommendations for the Steering Committee to decide during the budget preparation which is made up of expert community representatives. They draw up a ranking and recommendations, which the steering group decides on as part of the budget allocation for each calendar year for which it is responsible. Consortium partners receive the approval as part of their budget allocation for the respective calendar year.
