No, you don't need an ORCID to submit your data to GFBio. But to use the GFBio submission services (https://submissions.gfbio.org/) you need to log in first. This can be achieved by using your existing GFBio account or alternatively by using on of the listed third-party accounts, among them the option to login via ORCID.
